Wheels and castors with polyurethane tread are divided into 2 varian
1. Standard polyurethane, consist of :
• Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU)
Thermoplastic injection-moulded polyurethane (TPU) based on polyesterpolyol, diisocyanate and glycol. This is vibration-absorbing, non-marking, non-staining and highly abrasion-resistant, while also providing good floor preservation. The tread is also resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances, although it has only limited resistance to hot water or steam.The TPU tread is combined with nylon wheel centres, which have a variety of characteristics. 3 varians for this type are : PATH, POTH, POTHS
• Polyurethane elastomer Blickle Extrathane
The Extrathane® tread is used in combination with a variety of wheel centres. The materials used for these wheel centres are aluminium, steel and cast iron. Different wheel centres provide different load capacities.The tread is highly abrasion-resistant and has a high resistance to cut and tear propagation. 5 varians for this type are : ALTH, SETH, VSTH/GTH, ALST, GST

2. Premium polyurethane, consist of :
• Polyurethane elastomer Blickle Besthane
Besthane® treads have 40% lower rolling and swivel resistance than the other polyurethane treads.
Besthane® tread also provides a particularly high level of dynamic load resistance, which is particularly useful when transporting sensitive materials. The Besthane® series also covers a huge range of wheel diameters of up to 1000 mm. Besthane® is also used on the GBN series of drive wheels with hub keyway, the GBA series of hub fitting wheels and the GSPOB series of hydrolysis resistant cast nylon wheel centres. 2 varians for this type are :
• Polyurethane elastomer Blickle Besthane Soft
The casted tread is used with either an aluminium or nylon wheel centre. The nylon version is also hydrolysis resistant. The formula was optimised until Besthane®Soft provided the desired characteristics: exceptionally high operational comfort, a high level of floor surface preservation, low-noise operation and a particularly high dynamic load capacity.
The tread is frequently used for systems or transport units in the automotive industry, industrial trucks, machinery and machining industry. 2 varians for this type are : POBS, ALBS
• Vulkollan
Vulkollan® wheels have outstanding mechanical properties and are therefore commonly used in driverless transport systems, conveyor systems and machine and systems engineering applications as drive wheels, load rollers or guide rollers. In addition to providing a high dynamic load capacity, it is both non-marking and non-staining. The colour may change slightly over time if the tread is exposed to sunlight (UV). Vulkollan® is resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances, with the exception of hot water or hot air with a high humidity level. Varian for this model only one, it is GVU
