Castors and Wheel

BLICKLE Light duty castors and wheels are mainly used for less demanding applications requiring a load capacity of up to 280 kg. They are designed for speeds of up to 3 km/h and therefore more frequently used indoors. The TPA, VPA, POES, PATH, VSTH and POA series are light duty series. A variety of treads are available, including thermoplastic rubber, solid rubber, soft rubber, thermoplastic polyurethane, Extrathane® or nylon, and all have different characteristics.

1. TPA Series : Wheel with themoplastic rubber tread, with polypropylene wheel centre (50-125 kg) - wheel Ø 50–125 mm
This has a hardness of 75 Shore A and is cast onto a polypropylene wheel centre. The tread is non-marking and forms a strong, unbreakable bond with the wheel centre.
• LRA-TPA, BRA-TPA, LKRA-TPA, BKRA-TPA series : Light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with thermoplastic rubber tread (50-120 kg).
• LPA-TPA, BPA-TPA, LKPA-TPA, BKPA-TPA series : Light duty castors with top plate, wheel with thermoplastic rubber tread (50-120 kg).
• LMDA-TPA Series : Twin wheel light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with thermoplastic rubber tread (80-100 kg).
• LDA-TPA Series : Twin wheel light duty castors with top plate, wheel with thermoplastic rubber tread (80-100 kg).

2. VPA Series : Wheels with solid rubber tyre, with synthetic rim - wheel Ø 50–150 mm
The VPA series use a high-quality solid rubber tyre with a hardness of 80 Shore A, cast onto a nylon rim. The tyre is also non-marking grey and non-staining.
• LRA, BRA, LKRA, BKRA-VPA series (wheel Ø 50–100 mm) : Light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with solid rubber tyres (40-110 kg)
• LKRA-VPA, BKRA-VPA series (wheel Ø 125–150 mm) : Light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with solid rubber tyres (100-120 kg)
• LPA-VPA, BPA-VPA, LKPA-VPA, BKPA-VPA series : Light duty castors with top plate, wheel with solid rubber tyres (40-120 kg)
• LMDA-TPA Series : Twin wheel light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with solid rubber tyres (80-100 kg).
• LDA-VPA Series : Twin wheel light duty castors with top plate, wheel with solid rubber tyres (80-100 kg).

3. POES Series : Wheels with “Blickle SoftMotion” soft rubber tyres, with nylon wheel centre - wheel Ø 100–125 mm
The tread of the POES series is made from a high-quality elastic solid rubber “Blickle SoftMotion” material with a hardness of 55 Shore A. This is vulcanised onto the nylon wheel centre.
• LKRA-POES, BKRA-POES series : Light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with soft rubber tyres “Blickle SoftMotion” (120 kg).
• LKPA-POES, BKPA-POES series : Light duty castors with top plate, wheel with soft rubber tyres “Blickle SoftMotion” (120 kg)

4. PATH Series : Wheels with thermoplastic polyurethane tread, with nylon wheel centre (75-250 kg) - wheel Ø 50–125 mm.
The tread of the PATH series is made of high-quality thermoplastic polyurethane with a hardness of 94 Shore A. This is cast onto the high-quality nylon 6 wheel centre and forms a strong chemical bond.
• LRA-PATH, BRA-PATH, LKRA-PATH, BKRA-PATH series : Light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with thermoplastic polyurethane tread (75-120 kg)
• LPA-PATH, BPA-PATH, LKPA-PATH, BKPA-PATH series : Light duty castors with top plate, wheel with thermoplastic polyurethane tread (75-120 kg)
• LMDA-PATH Series : Twin wheel light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with thermoplastic polyurethane tread (80-100 kg).
• LDA-PATH Series : Twin wheel light duty castors with top plate, wheel with thermoplastic polyurethane tread (80-100 kg).

5. VSTH Series : Polyurethane-elastomer "Blickle Extrathane" (100-150 kg) - wheel Ø 35–50mm.
The tread of the VSTH series consists of the high-quality, reaction-injected polyurethane Blickle Extrathane®. This is cast onto the steel wheel centre.
• LRA-VSTH, LKRA-VSTH series : Light duty castors with bolt hole, wheel with “Blickle Extrathane” polyurethane tread (100-150 kg).
• LPA-VSTH, LKPA-VSTH series : Light duty castors with top plate, wheel with “Blickle Extrathane” polyurethane tread (100-150 kg).

6. POA Series : Nylon Wheels (75-280 kg) - wheel Ø 35–150mm.

The wheels in the POA series are made from high-quality injection-moulded nylon and provide smooth running performance on even floors, combined with a high level of abrasion resistance. They are also resistant to many aggressive substances.
• LRA-POA, BRA-POA, LKRA-POA, BKRA-POA series : Light duty castors with bolt hole, with nylon wheel (70-120 kg).
• LPA-POA, BPA-POA, LKPA-POA, BKPA-POA series : Light duty castors with top plate, with nylon wheel (70-120 kg).
• LMDA-POA Series : Twin wheel light duty castors with bolt hole, with nylon wheel (80-100 kg).
• LDA-POA Series : Twin wheel light duty castors with top plate, wheel with nylon wheel (80-100 kg).

• Typical applications of light duty castors are medical equipment, display bases or equipment for large-scale catering establishments.
• In commercial kitchens, hygiene is probably the main concern. So there are non-marking versions are available for all of Blickle’s light duty castors.
